The blood extracted from the piece of flesh is of AB type, as the same as the one taken from the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Civitavecchia (Rome).

On 7 November 1999, during a Mass held in the Lower Basilica of the French town, at the time of wafer consecration it took to float in the air, all under the gaze at all upset of the priests who were celebrating. Among them the then archbishop of Paris, Cardinal Jean Marie Lustiger, present on the altar. Everything happened at the time of ‘ “epiclesis”, that is, when the priests extend their hands invoking the Holy Spirit. The host has raised swinging, then remained stably suspended in the air a few centimeters below from the host, which in turn is placed on the paten (the “plate” which is used during the Holy Mass surface for placing the consecrated Host from Priest ). Host that has remained suspended until the end of the recitation of the prayer of consecration.
Anyone who sees the movie tries an indescribable feeling because it assists with their own eyes the occurrence of something that has no rational explanation. It can not be called ‘Eucharistic miracle’ because on it there is no judgment from ecclesiastical authority, but it is certainly an event that does reflect a lot.

Eucharistic Miracle in Betania (Venezuela)
Miracle captured on video by Daniel Sanford of New Jersey. On 11/13/98, as part of the pilgrimage, he went to see the Bleeding Host of Betania at the Chapel of the Augustinian Nuns in Los Teques. The Spiritual Director, Father Mazzarella, said Daily Mass. When they finished, he opened the Tabernacle door, which contained the Bleeding Host. The Host was in flames, bleeding, and there was a pulsating heart bleeding in the center of the Host. Daniel watched this for about 30 seconds or so, then the Host returned to normal. HOWEVER, He did manage to film this miracle with his camcorder!

The face of Jesus appears over the Host during Mass.
